Juli 2012 ist Marissa Mayer neue Vorsitzende der Yahoo-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung. Zuvor war sie Vizepr\u00e4sidentin von Google Inc und dort als \u201epublic face\u201c. Mit der neuen Chefin will Yahoo offenbar ein wenig mehr wie Google werden. Mayer hat daf\u00fcr bereits die ersten Ma\u00dfnahmen eingeleitet.<\/p>\n<p>Wie der Nachrichtendienst golem.de berichtet, verk\u00fcndete Mayer am vergangenen Freitag auf einer Versammlung, dass es ab sofort kostenloses Essen f\u00fcr die Mitarbeiter im Yahoos Caf\u00e9 URLs gibt. Die Versammlung soll zudem k\u00fcnftig jeden Freitag um 16:30 Uhr stattfinden, welche f\u00fcr das gesamte Unternehmen bestimmt ist. Beide Ver\u00e4nderungen \u00fcbernimmt Mayer von ihrem bisherigen Arbeitgeber Google.<\/p>\n<p>Des Weiteren sollen auch erste Ma\u00dfnahmen zur B\u00fcroumgestaltung get\u00e4tigt worden sein. Zur St\u00e4rkung der Zusammenarbeit sollen diese cooler gestaltet werden, um eine angenehmere Arbeitsatmosph\u00e4re zu schaffen. Die bisherigen Ver\u00e4nderungen w\u00fcrden von den Yahoo-Mitarbeitern gut aufgenommen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Mayer arbeite auch bereits daran, ihre Zukunftsvision f\u00fcr Yahoo umzusetzen. So soll das E-Mail-Angebot und Flickr verbessert werden. Ebenso soll es bessere Adserver und eine verbesserte Suche geben. Wie es scheint, m\u00f6chte Mayer Yahoo wieder zu einem Technologieunternehmen machen.<\/p>\n<p>Interessant wird zudem zu beobachten sein, wer Yahoo unter der F\u00fchrung Mayer verlassen wird und ob ehemalige Kollegen von Google einen Wechsel zu Yahoo wagen.
