Die beiden Studien-Kollegen hatten Schmidt 2001 f\u00fcr die Position als CEO angeheuert, da keiner von ihnen Ahnung von der F\u00fchrung eines Unternehmens hatte.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Page, Sergey Brin und Eric Schmidt waren neun Jahre lang gemeinsam f\u00fcr den laufenden Gesch\u00e4ftsbetrieb verantwortlich. Page und Brin k\u00fcmmerten sich um die Software-Entwicklung, Schmidt um das Tagesgesch\u00e4ft.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ab dem 4. April wird Schmidt seine Position im Verwaltungsrat von Google als Executive Chairman beziehen und intern weiterhin als Berater f\u00fcr Page und Brin t\u00e4tig sein.<\/p>\n<p>Laut Schmidt war der Wechsel in der Unternehmensf\u00fchrung notwendig, um die F\u00fchrungsstrukturen zu vereinfachen und Entscheidungsfindungen zu beschleunigen. \u201eMeiner Meinung nach ist Larry bereit, das Unternehmen zu f\u00fchren.\u201c, sagt Schmidt.<\/p>\n<p>Den Angaben zufolge will Schmidt einen Teil seiner Google-Aktien verkaufen.
